Mickey Baker N4MB our ARRL Southeastern Division Director will speak about:

• The ARRL dues increase, how it works, why we had to do it, and why he voted the way that I did.
• He will also present on the “Services and People of the ARRL” with a view of the broad services we offer, the relative costs of each, and the people who do it, both volunteers and employees.
• Despite the ARRL survey Mickey would like to find out what is valuable to our members.

Lee Stone KT4LS our Georgia Section Emergency Coordinator will hit on these topics:

• New GA ARES website
  • Improve speed and content of communications
  • Private membership directory
  • Comprehensive calendar for nets/events across the state
  • A document library that provides a central storage location with public and private content
  • Improved training materials
  • Updated standard operating guidelines
  • The ability to publish news and events quickly
  • Emergency notification system – GA Hospital Assn is providing access to their system free of charge for all GA ARES members who want to participate.
• Preliminary Plans for State Meeting in March 2024
