Forum Description: Demystifying DMR Codeplug Programming isn’t a run-of-the-mill step-by-step presentation on programming a DMR radio. Jeff is a firm believer in learning through examples.
The presentation is designed to get attendees on a level playing field through a sample use case to help illustrate how DMR is used in real-world scenarios. We’ll spend a little time on how DMR networks work and then review practical examples and best practices for programming a DMR radio.
There will also be a Q&A session with Bob (K4CQO) and Mark (KN4TOD), followed by a codeplug programming workshop.
Workshop to follow the Forum: Bring your DMR radio, laptop, programming cable, and CPS (Customer Programming Software – not Codeplug Programming Software). Jeff, Bob, and Mark will take you through the basics of programming a radio to access a local repeater and a hotspot.
