Lee was licensed in 1957 as KH6DAK, finished college in electrical engineering, and remained in communications technology\/systems for his entire career.\u00a0 He is one of the founding members of the Raleigh Amateur Radio Society and built the original 04\/64 W4DW repeater in the early 1970s.\u00a0 He is also a life member of the ARRL and IEEE.<\/p>\n

Forum Description:<\/strong>\u00a0 We all would like to maximize the performance of our antennas. This presentation will demonstrate the Modeling Software MMANA-GAL, with a library of existing designs, and a simple graphical interface that will allow you to predict the SWR, impedances, and propagation patterns. Once modeled, I then will demonstrate how to use the worldwide network of SDR radio reverse beacons to prove the performance.<\/p>\n
