Jeff is the current APRS Foundation President.
Forum Description: The APRS Foundation was founded to represent APRS globally and is focused on picking up where Bob Bruninga (WB4APR—SK) left off.
The Foundation is focused on updating the APRS protocol specification and collaborating with the amateur radio community to build a roadmap that will take APRS in directions many have thought of but couldn’t accomplish alone.
This new organization will leverage the help and support of all the hams who have worked so hard to make APRS what it is today, as well as those who will join us in advancing and promoting APRS as we go forward.
The APRS Foundation is open and inclusive. We welcome all who wish to join us on this exciting journey to advance APRS into the 21st century!
